Yesterday we celebrated 9 years as Mr. and Mrs. Broxterman. When I look back at our wedding photos, I think to myself "Gosh, we look like BABIES!" And we were. Just ready to conquer this journey of life together. And while there have been many, many changes: babies, relocations, new jobs and more, the bumps on our road have been small. We are so BLESSED for that.
Love you Mark Broxterman. I couldn't imagine spending this life with anyone else!

The boy turns EIGHT
I promised my Daddy that I would do a new blog post soon. This one's been on my to do list for a while. Here you go!
This guy. He turned 8. EIGHT, people. How is that even remotely possible?! Weren't we just in Chicago braving the cold with JJ cole bundle me's and fleece lined sleepers? EIGHT!
We celebrated by taking his closest friends to see a Golden State Warriors game. It was tough to choose these select few kids, but he was certain this was what he wanted for his birthday. Mark and I were on "high alert" the whole night (fearful of losing a kid among the sold out - millions of people in one space - game), we still managed to have a great time and just loved watching this boy cheer on his favorite team. What a special day.
His heart is enormous. He sees the best in everyone. He's ALWAYS up for a challenge. His baby sister is obsessed with him and most of the time, the feeling is mutual. When he goes to sleep at night, curled up with another "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" book or his new favorite markers to draw with, I wonder for hours what the future holds for him. I hope and pray it's a wide, friendly, OPEN door. Because he deserves that. More than any kid I know. Love you buddy.
