Maddie's bottom 2 teeth had been VERY wiggly for a while. They actually had the same amount of "looseness" (is that a word?) so I pictured them falling out at the exact same time, as just one big tooth. There were days she was excited about it and then days she was terrified about it. So we really didn't push to get them out since you never knew which side of the spectrum Maddie was on that day.
When I picked her up from school, her tooth looked like this. I knew that sucker would be coming out at any instant. I asked her if I could pop it out and she fearfully said NO.
Since it was a minimum day at school, I took the kids to Red Robin for lunch. As I was asking to be seated I looked over and literally just saw something fall out of her mouth. She was confused, looked down and started BAWLING "Mommy! Mommy! Mommy!" I see Jacob bend over and pick something up and sure enough, it was her tooth! We all started screaming with excitement (after she calmed down and I had to show her that there was no blood - ha). I actually think Jacob was more excited than she was!
We celebrated with milkshakes :)
I was convinced that the other tooth next to that one was going to fall out any second as well. I tried to get her to wiggle it out so she could say she lost her first 2 teeth in one day, but she was having none of it. Just like the first one, that second one would come out in it's own time. And it sure did, 2 days later :)
