Maddie's Baptism

The house is quiet. All of our visitors are gone. I finally have a chance to reflect on this past weekend. Do you know what makes me the most sad? Not knowing when Jacob and Maddie will be with ALL of their cousins again. Every single one of them. It's a rare occasion when this happens and unfortunately, with us moving back to California, those types of reunions are even harder to come by.

It was a great celebration with family and friends and Maddie did awesome during the ceremony. Even when the priest basically drenched her whole head with holy water and oil, she barely batted an eye. Thanks to everyone who came to Dallas to celebrate with us. We had a great time and will miss you all dearly when we leave Texas!
