Every year we are DIY Christmas card people. Meaning, we don't hire any fancy photographers to get a family photo. We literally get everyone dressed up, plop that Nikon on a tripod outside and we take turns pressing the timer button and getting into position. Old SCHOOL. But, it creates much less stress that way, it's clearly affordable and we can usually go with one or two photos by the time it's all said and done.
This year was trickier because you can't tell a 9 month old baby to look at the camera while the timer is counting down and to "smile" at the right exact time. Even still, we got a few that came out great and we even had some silly fun along the way!
