Picture Perfect Day

Grandma and Grandpa came to visit a couple of days ago since Mark is away for work in Chicago. Since Jacob just saw them last week in Texas, he recognized them immediately when we picked them up at the airport and was very excited.

Today was a picture perfect day (aside from the fact that Mr. early riser decided to get up at 4:45 am.) We went to breakfast at one of our favorite places, then headed to the farmer's market and feasted on tons of yummy fruit. Jacob took a THREE hour nap (probably due to his early wake up time) and then we headed to the Foster City Wine and Art Festival. What could be more fantastic than a festival celebrating WINE and ART (especially the former?) The name ended up deceiving us though because there was very little wine and very little art. BUT, there were funnel cakes (YUM), carousel rides, fun bands and a huge park to play and lay around in.

We had to take 2 rides on the carousel because the little guy loved it so much he started crying when it ended!
